Grape Variety:
Mavro This was my first attempt at wine making, with very limited preparation and equipment. I used grapes from the local Mavro variety which is also used in some local wines, the most famous being the Commandaria wine. The end result result was suprisingly drinkable, much better than I had hoped. It is a sweet dessert wine but with a slight hint of oxidation, but still drinkable. |
